New products for ensa partners
keyboard_arrow_downensa follow-up
In the ensa course, your employees and managers gained valuable knowledge about adult mental health and mental illness, and became familiar with the five steps of first aid. After the course, many would like a safe place to share experiences and further develop their skills. Our ensa follow-up sessions offer precisely this: Together with your team, an experienced ensa instructor refreshes key course content, facilitates a structured exchange of experiences and builds your employees' confidence through practical communication exercises. This approach keeps the topic of mental health at the forefront over the longer term, and your company continues to benefit from strong and competent teams.

Instructor billing via Pro Mente Sana
keyboard_arrow_downensa partners benefit from attractive terms when offering their courses and are also responsible for organising them independently. Ideally, they work with their own instructors, whom they remunerate directly.
In certain cases, however, partners engage instructors whose salaries are processed via the Pro Mente Sana Foundation payroll. This results in additional administrative effort for us.
For this reason, from 2026 onwards a forwarding fee of ten percent on salary costs will be charged. This fee is payable by the ensa partner and does not affect instructor remuneration. Partners have the option of remunerating instructors directly at any time. -
New course video for First Aid Conversations for Managers
keyboard_arrow_downAn updated video for the course First Aid Conversations for Managers will be available from 2026. All instructors for this course type will receive access to the slides containing the new video (including subtitles in all course languages) by the end of 2025. -
Minimum number of participants
keyboard_arrow_downRecently, we have observed that for various reasons, some partners have been running courses with fewer than eight participants. We would like to remind all partners that the minimum number of participants per course is eight. This requirement is in line with the didactic concept and licence agreement with Mental Health First Aid International. -
Quality control in courses
keyboard_arrow_downAs part of this year’s recertification by eduQua, we were recommended to carry out random quality visits in our courses in accordance with section 2.5 of the partner agreement. These visits will be introduced from 2026 and will always be announced in advance. Both content alignment and didactic quality will be assessed during these visits. Your instructors have received the detailed criteria separately. This new process is intended to support individual development and a shared understanding of quality, and will be conducted constructively.
Our aim is to ensure that ensa courses are delivered to consistently high standards across Switzerland. If you have any questions or concerns about this process, we are always available to support you. -
Teaser: New testimonials campaign
keyboard_arrow_downOn 10 October, Mental Health Day, we will be launching our new ensa testimonials campaign. Following our 60-second video, which highlighted the urgency and significance of the ensa programme, the first partners will now appear as testimonials, and more videos will follow in the coming weeks and months.
We are delighted with the results so far and proud of our partners, who are putting the spotlight on the importance of mental health in the workplace.
Would you like to become part of the Swiss-wide online campaign as an ensa partner? If so, we look forward to hearing from you directly at k.egloff@promentesana.ch.
