Acting competently with mental health problems!
What to do if you notice that someone is mentally unwell?
Many people do not know how to react when a friend, family member or colleague is struggling with their mental health. They lack the words and the confidence to do the right thing. Have you also experienced this feeling of helplessness? Our ensa courses address this by teaching you how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue, empowering you to approach, support and encourage them to seek professional help. Because doing nothing is wrong.
Everyone can provide mental health first aid!
Our first aid courses are run over several sessions during which first-aiders are taught a basic knowledge of a range of mental illnesses and crises. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical skills are practiced through interactive exercises and role-plays. With your newly acquired skills you will make an important contribution to the quality of life of those around you. And with your knowledge you can strengthen both your own mental health and that of others.
